The disastrous Willy Wonka experience in Glasgow made national headlines, and became subject to true-crime style documentaries.

But that hasn't put off a French Mediterranean restaurant in London from transforming into a magical chocolate wonderland to celebrate Easter.

Inspired by the timeless tale of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Bagatelle promises to transport guests into a world of pure imagination, wonder, and fun.

Taking place between Sunday 31st March to Sunday 7th April, 'Bagatelle & the Chocolate Factory' will see the Mayfair eatery become a vibrant scene, complete with oversized sweets and whimsical decorations.

Attendees are encouraged to don their most imaginative costumes inspired by beloved characters from the film, from Willy Wonka himself to Oompa Loompas.

There will be limited-edition dishes created just for the occasion, including an irresistible assortment of chocolate treats, candy cocktails.

Chef Rocco Seminara has re-created his very own Wonka's Chocolate Bar for the occasion.

Bringing guests back to their childhood era, the chocolate bar uses fresh flavours and popping candy inside, creating a fun and playful sensation in the mouth.

Each night, the eatery will be handing out five Wonka inspired chocolate bars, for the chance to win the 'golden ticket'.

The mysterious prize will provide guests with a chance to win a dinner for four with a special bottle per ticket.

Hopefully, this chocolate wonderland will be better than the catastrophic 'Willy Wonka experience' in Glasgow that dominated headlines last month, for all the wrong reasons.

Attendees, including tiny excitable children, had been promised 'a universe where your dreams come true' but were instead met with a sad grey room, half filled with plastic mushrooms and AI-generated posters.

Irate parents slammed the £35-a-ticket event as 'an absolute shambles' after being promised 'memories that will last a lifetime'.

However, despite the event being a car crash, the viral 16-year-old star of the doomed experience has secured a new role at the London Dungeon, after a botched AI script meant she was cast as an invented chocolate factory villain.

Felicia Dawkins captivated the internet when she was revealed as the face behind The Unknown, an evil rival chocolate maker to Willy Wonka living in the walls, who scared children at the Wonka event in Glasgow.

Felicia said it has 'totally changed my life' and helped her to fulfil a 'dream' of working with the London Dungeon.
